Salem Luethy, CPDT-KA

Salem is a passionate dog trainer with fifteen years of experience in the dog training field. While training under a behavioral specialist in Colorado when she was younger, she found her calling in behavioral training and has run her own in-home training business for over five years now. Salem has consulted as one of the main behavioral specialists for other prominent training facilities in the DFW area and sits on the Behavioral Committee for the Humane Society of North Texas. She is an AKC Evaluator, CPDT-KA certified, and currently pursuing her СВСС-КА.

Salem's expertise lies in helping humans communicate with and better understanding their dogs through empathy and positive reinforcement. Her specialized methods help with basic obedience, service dog task training and managing dog reactivity.

She loves teaching others how to “speak to dogs” and is currently writing a book on reactivity basics to help more people understand their best furry friend.

She moved to Texas in 2011, married her wife in 2015, and they now have 2 dogs together. Gabriel, a 15 year old Pitbull Husky mix and Omen, a sweet Golden Retriever who is almost 3 years old and acts as Salem's demo-dog and task trained dog. Omen often accompanies Salem in classes and private lessons to assist with reactive dogs and demonstrations. 

Salem has spent her life crafting and creating her specialized reactivity training methods and has created a name for herself as the leading behavioral specialist in the DFW area. She works her magic to help owners live more connected and comfortable lives with their dogs and helps dogs to learn to be more confident and relaxed in their day to day lives.
